The Wish Factory’s existence began in 1996 upon completion of their debut cd, The Strange and the Beautiful...But Mostly the Strange. Their chick power pop sound has surfaced as a result of the many experiences that members Annelise Noronha, David Godfrey, Kid Carson and Nikki Servos have shared with each other.
The Wish Factory has become the forum for which these people can play a bunch of pop tunes that they really believe in, as loud and as hard as they can -proving that perhaps pop has not eaten itself quite yet. And these people are no ordinary people. Kid operates a musical instrument management & supply company. David writes music for cdroms and commercials. Annelise and Nikki are recording engineers. These people are surrounded and influenced by music all the time.
The Wish Factory strongly believes that there is a place in this world for them. That their music and lyrics are strong and impactful, but at the same time completely relatable and accessible to the pop-loving public. Because of this, their music has been picked up for use in various movies and TV shows, and they have received high critical acclaim from their audiences and fellow musicians.
The Wish Factory knows that one day their songs and convicted live performances will make themselves and some lucky label, a lot of money.
